Comment on dating:

  • Die Königin ist auf der Chapelle Rouge vielfach mit ihren Titeln genannt. An keiner Stelle ist ein konkretes Regierungsjahr angegeben. Da auf einem Block aber von der Errichtung der Obelisken die Rede ist, die laut der Inschrift auf einer der Obelisken im 15.-16. Regierungsjahr stattfand (vgl. Urk. IV, 367.3-4), ist der Beginn der Errichtung der Kapelle nicht vor dem 17. Regierungsjahr anzusetzen; siehe Lacau/Chevrier, Une chapelle d’Hatshepsout I, 26 (§ 8-9). Der betreffende Block ist bereits 1899 im Schutt, der als Füllmaterial des 3. Pylons diente, gefunden wurden; vgl. G. Legrain – E. Naville, L’aile nord du pylône d’Aménophis III à Karnak. Annales du Musée Guimet 30 (1), 1902, 1–22, hier: 13-14, pl. 12a; dazu Urk. IV, 373.16-375.9. Der betreffende Block trägt jetzt die Nummer 302 und befindet sich auf der Südseite, im 7. Register; siehe Burgos/Larché, La Chapelle Rouge I, 77; älter: Lacau/Chevrier, Une chapelle d’Hatshepsout I, XXII + XXV, 231-234 (§§ 369-375).

  • Die Reihenfolge der Blöcke folgt Lacau/Chevrier, Une chapelle d’Hatshepsou tI, 69-92 (§§ 107-151; sie ist identisch mit der aktuellen Rekonstruktion bei Burgos/Larché, La Chapelle Rouge I, 15-30. allerdings sind die Blöcke der Südseite (S. 17-22) von rechts nach links (d.h. beginnend mit S. 22, endend mit S. 17) zu lesen. Es wurde keine spezifische Paragraphenzählung vorgenommen, sondern eine interne Zählung von Block/Blockgruppe zu Block/Blockgruppe. Die Zeilenzählung ist für alle Szenen identisch: (1) = die gabenbringende Personifikation, (2) die Beischrift zur Personifikation, (3) die Rede der Personifikation.
