      Comment on this place: Frühzeitfriedhof zwischen Schunet es-Zebib und Deir Sitt Damyana: Gefunden in einem Grab, daß sich in der NO Ecke der Djer-Gräber befand und in einigen Gräbern der 1. Dyn. hineingebaut war (Petrie, 10).

  • Die Datierung ist nicht einheitlich. In der älteren Literatur wird die Stele in die späte 11. Dynastie datiert (Gardiner, in: Petrie 1925, 19; Lichtheim 1988, 68; Bourriau 1988, 20), in der jüngeren in die frühe 12. Dynastie (Franke 1994, 18 Anm. 52; Geoffrey 2005, 20). Gardiner schreibt: "The stela ... shows in its names, titles and phraseology all the characteristics of the XIth dynasty." Zur Datierung in die frühe 12. Dyn. siehe Freed, in: BiOr 47, 1990, 116 (stilistische Kriterien) und Quack, in: LingAeg 3, 1993, 62, Anm. 35 (epigraphische Kriterien).
