  • - m-ḏr.tj wird teils als Temporalkonjunktion m-ḏr aufgefaßt (Lange, Erman, Griffith, Wilson, Simpson, Shirun-Grumach, Bresciani), teils als eine Graphie der Präposition m-dj (Grumach, Brunner, Roccati, Vernus, Foster, Laisney; Borghouts, in: SAK 8, 1980, 73; Römheld, Wege der Weisheit, 174, Anm. 118 [mit der Bedeutung "mit"]). Im ersten Fall ist ḥḏi̯ eine Verbalform mit jb als Subjekt, im zweiten Fall ist ḥḏ-jb ein Substantiv.
    -     ḥꜣ.t: Griffith übersetzt "wind before water (?)" und liest also ṯꜣw (r)-ḥꜣ.t mw (vgl. Laisnay: "les vents devant les eaux"). Wilson vermutet eine Genitivkonstruktion: "wind of the head-waters". Grumach geht von einer Koordination aus: "Wind und Regen", d.h. ṯꜣw {ḥꜣ.t} 〈ḥr〉 mw oder ṯꜣw ḥ(w)j.t. Lichtheim übersetzt "wind over (?) water". Römheld, Wege der Weisheit, 175, Anm. 119 denkt an ḥwj: "flut" oder ḥꜣj.t: "Überschwemmung; Nil". Borghouts, in: SAK 8, 1980, 73, Anm. 34 hält ḥꜣ.t für eine Graphie von rʾ-ḥꜣ.t oder rʾ-ḥꜣ.wt$: "die Nilmündungen" (Wb. III, 24.15 und II, 398.2) und geht vom natürlichen Phänomen des starken Meereswindes am Zusammenfluß von Nil und Meer aus: "swifter than the wind at (?) the river-mouth" (gefolgt von Brunner, Shirun-Grumach).
