de Er machte (es) als sein Denkmal für seinen Vater Amun, den Herrn der Throne der Beiden Länder,
(nämlich) das für ihn Errichten eines erhabenen Tempelbaues auf der Westseite von Theben,
eine Festung von der nḥḥ-Ewigkeit bis zur ḏ.t-Ewigkeit, aus weißem schönen Sandstein, ganz überzogen mit Gold,
sein Boden (kultisch) gereinigt mit Silber, alle seine Tore aus Elektron, sehr breit und groß gemacht, (in) Ewigkeit vortrefflich gemacht,
festlich gemacht mit diesem äußerst bedeutenden Denkmal (= die Stele selbst),
zahlreich ausgestattet mit Statuen des Herrn, aus Elephantine-Granit, wertvollem kristallinem Sandstein (und) allerlei erhabenen Edelsteinen, die vortrefflich ausgeführt waren als Werk für die Ewigkeit, (indem) ihre Höhe heller leuchtete als der Himmel, ihre Strahlen in den Gesichtern wie die Sonnenscheibe, wenn sie am Morgen aufleuchtet;
