Da die gesamte Passage unklar ist, wird hier keine Emendation vorgenommen, wie sie sich bei Mathieu oder Kitchen findet, die nur n nfy=sw lasen und dies an den vorherigen Satz anschlossen: "La puissance du ciel descendra en un souffle de vent" bzw. "The sky descends with a puff of its wind". Egal, ob man das zweite n des Satzes zur Negation oder zum Substantiv zieht, bleibt das erste n die Negationspartikel: eine Schreibung der Genitiv-Nisbe oder der Präposition n mit den verneinenden Armen ist im Neuägyptischen unüblich. Während die meisten Bearbeiter vom Verb nfi̯: "wehen" o.ä. ausgehen, schlug Schott offenbar eine Schreibung für fꜣi̯ vor: "Luft, die ihn nicht trägt" (vgl. schon DZA 23.565.330 und später Iversen, S. 81). In dem Fall müsste man aber den Mast mit Segel ebenfalls als ṯꜣw lesen (vgl. Wb I 574, 1-2) und das Verb selbst wäre undeterminiert.
