Das Subst. twꜣ hängt entweder mit dem Verb twꜣ: "sich bittend wenden an, Anspruch erheben" zusammen oder mit dem Verb twꜣ: "stützen, hochheben". Daher übersetzen Burkard, in: TUAT, 208 und Vernus, Sagesses, 92 mit "Hochachtung, Respekt". In Vers D169 liegt ein Verb twꜣ in einem negativen Zusammenhang vor. Es bedeutet dort entweder "belästigen" (von: "sich bittend wenden an") oder "überheblich sein" (von: "hochheben").
