- In den thebanischen Handschriften wird das Satzgefüge wnn=f ḥr sḏm jw=f ḥr sḏm vorliegen. In oDeM 1177 wird das zweite Glied mit dem Umstandssatz jw pꜣ ky ꜥḥꜥ(.w) fortgeführt, während in oDeM 1002 ein Hauptsatz folgt.
- mtr: in pAnastasi I steht ḥr mtr=w, in den thebanischen Handschriften ist entweder keine Präposition vorhanden (oDeM 1002) oder sie ist in einer Lücke verloren. Fischer-Elfert, 56 (Anm. 6,2/T63) ergänzt r mtr. In oDeM 1002 kann =w r hinter mtr durch Zeilenwechsel vergessen sein, der Satz läßt sich aber auch so sinnvoll übersetzen: pꜣ ky (ḥr) ꜥḥꜥ (ḥr) mtr pꜣ tp-rd: "Der nächste (d.h. der vierte) steht da und bezeugt/zeigt/prüft die Reihenfolge."
- r pꜣ tp-rd: Gardiner übersetzt "examine according to the rules", d.h. "vorschriftsgemäß". Erman versteht mtr als "belehren" und übersetzt daher "belehren in der Vorschrift", was Fischer-Elfert unter Berücksichtigung der Bedeutung "Reihenfolge" in pAnastasi I 28.8 als "instruieren über die Reihenfolge" deutet.
