  • Die Bestimmung von Haupt- und Nebensätzen sowie der inhaltliche Zusammenhang der Sätze sind unsicher, auch mittelägyptische Konstruktionen kommen vor. Gardiner ging von einem einzigen Satz bis 7,2 aus: "A man is in sore straits as he [pushes] on sandalless and impeded (?) by the rushes, while the undergrowth (?) is abundant and thick, and the weeds (?) troublesome." Schulman stellte die einzelnen Sätze nebeneinander: "One is in a wretched state while he ----es. There are no sandals and so he is immersed (?) in the reeds. The šfnw are many and heavy, and the blossoms (?) are bad." Jägers Satzstruktur ist ähnlich kleinteilig: "(...) da ist man in Not. Er marschiert ohne Sandalen, in ... im Gestrüpp; das Unterholz ist dicht und schwer, die Sträucher übel."
