  • Vgl. Fecht, Der Vorwurf an Gott, 54-57, der ṯni̯ im Sinne von "bevorzugen" übersetzt: "Seht-warum sucht-er-zu-schaffen-[Menschen], während-nicht-bevorzugt-ist-der-Scheue vor-dem-Gewaltsamen, damit-er-Kühlung-brächte auf-die-Hitze?"
    Gardiner hat mit n(n) + Infinitiv übersetzt: "... without distinguishing the timid man from him whose nature is violent."
    In Helcks Übersetzung erwartet man die Form n sḏm.n.tw=f: "..., wenn der Feigling nicht vom Tapferen zu unterscheiden ist".
    Parkinson gibt an ṯni̯ noch eine andere Nuance: "..., when the meek are not set apart from the savage".
