  • - Fischer-Elfert und Wente verstehen diesen Satz als die Erklärung des pꜣ ḏd j:jri̯=j n=k: Amenemope ist wütend wegen der Tatsache, daß Hori behauptet in jedem Beruf erfahren zu sein.
    - tw=j jp jb=k: kann man übersetzen als "ich prüfe dein Herz" (so etwa Erman; vgl. Bresciani: "perché ti ho messo alla prova"), aber das paßt nicht richtig im Zusammenhang. Gardiner, EHT, 39a, Anm. zu 6.d vermutet eine Kontamination von jp jb=j: "Mein Herz wurde geprüft" und tw=j jp.k(wj): "ich bin geprüft worden". Er übersetzt "I am experienced in every rank" (ähnlich Wente). Fischer-Elfert, 236, Anm. zu 28,1/T154 hat "Ich bin umsichtig in jedem Amte" und er emendiert zu tw=j jp.kwj. Es gibt die Limitation jp jb: "verständig, urteilsfähig" (vgl. pAnastasi I, 16.1-2 = KÄT 115.7), aber für Wilsons Übersetzung "I am competent of heart in every office" bräuchte man tw=j 〈m〉 jp-jb oder eher jnk jp-jb. Ein univerbiertes Verb jp-jb, d.h. *tw=j jp-jb.kwj existiert nicht. Für das transitive jp jb.w: "der die Herzen zählt" siehe Willems, in: Gs Quaegebeur (OLA 84), 719-743.
