  • Dieser Satz ist grammatisch problematisch. Ein Substantival- oder Adjektivalsatz kann nicht mit jw eingeleitet werden. Falls wr das Adjektivverb im komplexen Verbalform jw sḏm=f ist, erwartet man eigentlich die Form jw wrr im Generalis.

  • Die Präsenz von jw beim Adjektivalsatz oder beim Substantivalsatz ist problematisch im klassischen Mittelägyptisch, weshalb es hier emendiert wurde (Quack, in: WdO 35, 2005, 15 vermerkt, daß es typisch für das Altägyptische ist; das würde für die von ihm angenommene Datierung in der Ersten Zwischenzeit bis spätestens Beginn der 12. Dyn. sprechen). Für die von Lichtheim vorgeschlagene Übersetzung "Ein Großherziger ist ein von Gott Gegebener" (gefolgt von Fecht, in: Fs Daumas, 245, der zu rḏi̯.w jn nṯr emendiert, mit Eliminierung der Personendeterminative; vgl. Burkard, in: TUAT: "Es ist der Großherzige, den Gott fördert") muß man nicht nur jw vor dem Substantivalsatz entfernen, sondern auch rḏi̯.w emendieren.
