  • - [nmt.t] [s.t](=j) [r zj]: Osing (Das Grab des Nefersecheru, 1992, 50 note (t)) restores these verses on the basis of a close parallel in the biography on the Third Intermediate Period statue CG 39217 (Jansen-Winkeln, Ägyptische Biographien der 22. und 23. Dynastie, ÄAT 8/1, Wiesbaden 1985, 304-305: ḏr.t=j wḏꜣ.w nmt.t=j r s.t=s nn tši̯(.t) 〈r〉=f "Meine Hand war sicher (handelnd), mein Schritt an seiner Stelle, ohne 〈von〉 ihm (dem König) zu weichen."). A number of other passages in this biography parallel Nefersekheru’s text, including the description of childhood and the celebratory exit from the palace (Osing 1992, 48 note (i); 51, note (ab)). These connections point to the transmission of stock biographical phraseology rather than use of Nefersekheru’s text as a model.
