    Möglicherweise steht hier wirklich ḫtm "Verschluß" oder "Siegel", da sich so ein Wortspiel mit dem für diesen Gau in griech.-röm. Zeit belegten "ḫtm-Gewässer" (Wb 3, 353.2; Edfou I 339,18; Montet, ibidem, 122) ergäbe.
