  • - Da die Bedeutung von jw=s m hp.wj problematisch ist, ist es unklar, ob ꜥn n=s nw (oder eventuell ꜥn.n=s nw) ein weiterer Nebensatz oder der Hauptsatz ist. Für Faulkner ist ꜥn ein Imperativ (in: Simpson, Literature, 172: "be kind to her for a space"), für Vernus, Sagesses, 105 ein Adjektivalsatz: "Le temps est bon pour elle." Als Nebensatz muß ꜥn ein sḏm=f mit nw als Subjekt sein ("indem die Zeit schön für sie ist") oder eventuell ein sḏm.n=f ("nachdem sie für eine Weile schön/heiter gewesen ist").
    - jw=s m hp.wj wird mit Lichtheim, Literature I, 80 Anm. 63 hypothetisch als "jemand, die sprunghaft ist" übersetzt. Cannuyer, in: ZÄS 113, 1986, 101 vermutet, daß die beiden Gesetze oder Gewohnheiten sich auf die Fröhlichkeit und die Bekanntheit beziehen und übersetzt: "si elle réunit ces deux qualités". Junge, Die Lehre Ptahhoteps, 202 und 257 kommt von "sie ist in zweierlei Maß" zu "für sie gilt zweierlei Maß", womit die Tatsache, daß die Zeit für sie schön ist und daß sie nicht verstoßen werden soll, gemeint ist.
