  • - jm,y〈.pl-mw〉 db{š}〈j〉j[.pl] [r] ⸢zbi̯⸣ Wsjr: El-Tonnsy, 158-159 liest und ergänzt nicht db.y, sondern šꜥd [m fꜣı͗ tpw.ṯn ntt wsı͗r] „you will be cut off [when your heads arise], inasmuch as Osiris rises [in his boat]“, aber dies ist keineswegs mit den vorhandenen Hieroglyphen auf Taf. II und IV zu vereinbaren. Die Textparallele auf Horusstele Brooklyn Museum 57.21.2 (Jacquet-Gordon, in: The Brooklyn Museum Annual 7, 1965-1966, 62, Fig. 7) (ebenfalls aus der Zeit Osorkons I.) hilft, um die oben gegebene Lesung zu begründen. Sie bestätigt die Lesungen db.pl „Nilpferd“ und zbi̯. Weil auf der Horusstele Brooklyn Museum 57.21.2 das vorangehende zerstört ist, ist nicht zu entscheiden, ob auf der Horusstele Atfih für den Anfangsteil eine irrtümliche Dittographie vorliegt.
