I acted as a sculptor in Amenemhat-itj-tawy, given life for ever, and I came 〈to〉 this temple because of the work under the Majesty of the King of Upper and Lower Egypt, Kheperkare, beloved of Khentamentiu, lord of Abydos, given life for ever like Re, eternally.

Die Mauern um ihn herum waren (und sind) aus Ziegelsteinen, die Türen aus Zedernholz, verziert mit Kupfer, die Torbauten aus festen Granit, damit der große Name seines Vaters, des Sohnes des Re Thutmosis (III.), fortdauere in diesem Tempel für immer und ewig.

Dann ließ Seine Majestät die Stele anfertigen, indem sie aufgestellt wurde in diesem Tempel am Standort des Herrn (d.h. des Gottes = im Sanktuar), graviert mit dem großen Namen des [[Herrn der Beiden Länder, des Sohnes des Re Amenhotep-netjer-heqa-iunu, im]] Haus seines Vaters Chnum, des Herrn des Kataraktgebietes, nach der Rückkehr Seiner Majestät aus Ober-Retjenu, nachdem er alle seine Feinde zu Fall gebracht hatte bei der Erweiterung der Grenzen Ägyptens auf dem ersten siegreichen Feldzug.
