  • ḥnr n=j: Zur Bedeutung von n=j als "ich bin" in diesem Fall Fox, S. 39, Anm. a.

    ꜥ sšr: Es ist nicht ganz sicher, ob hier wirklich diese Verbindung zu lesen ist (so eindeutig Fox, vgl. seine Transkription in JAOS 100, S. 102 und seine wörtliche Übersetzung in Song of Songs, S. 39, Anm. a: "piece of linen", missverstanden von Mathieu, S. 108, Anm. 365). Vielleicht liegt hier eher das Lemma ꜥ: "e. gewebtes Erzeugnis" (Meeks, AL 77.0546) vor, so dass das Stoffstück vielleicht gar nicht als Ideogramm für sšr, sondern als Determinativ für ꜥ zu lesen wäre.

    rwḏ m: "etw. eifrig tun" - zu diesem Gebrauch wie ein Hilfsverb Wb II 412, 6. Für diese Verwendung muss ṯꜣy als Verb ṯꜣi̯ aufgefasst werden. Da die Determinative nicht mehr erhalten sind, wäre natürlich auch ein anderes Wort denkbar, vgl. etwa einen Vorschlag von V.L. Davis: "I would be strengthend as a male", Fox, JAOS 100, S. 108, Anm. 41.

    Die auf ṯꜣy folgende Zerstörung ist recht lang, so dass in ihr vielleicht eine Satzgrenze lag.
