  • šnt,w: Lichtheim, 107, note 2 considers the verb to be "a contamination of šni̯, 'ask', and šnt 'quarrel'"; Doxey, Egyptian non-royal Epithets, 376 translates (with Lichtheim) "one who gives explanation to the quarrelsome man(?)" - perhaps in consistence with our reading of the verb as imperfective active participle of the verb šnṯ "to be angry, to quarrel". Die Stelle fehlt bei Janssen, Traditioneele Egyptische autobiografie.
