  • - mdw.t m jb=f: Die Übersetzung richtet sich hier nach Posener, Littérature, 135; Wolf, Das Alte Ägypten, 196 und Obsomer, Campagnes, 66, die tm sḏr als negative Relativform interpretieren. Nach Sethe, Erläuterungen, 137 Anm. 83,25 ist die Stelle entweder als Zustandsatz zu tm sḏr aufzufassen, d.h. "der nicht schläft, indem Rede in seinem Herzen ist" - so übernommen von Blumenthal, Phraseologie, 324 (G 4.40); Eyre, Semna Stelae, 134; Parkinson, Voices, 43; Seidlmayer, Pharao setzt die Grenzen, 11; Simpson, Literature, 338 - , oder sḏr ist nach der Parallele Khartum Nr.3 Z. 4 in ssḏr zu emendieren, das Nachfolgende als Objekt zu interpretieren, d.h. "der nicht schlafen lässt die Rede in seinem Herzen" - so schon emendiert bei Breasted, Records, 296 Anm. c. In der Parallele findet sich aber auch nur sḏr, vgl. Janssen, Stela, pl. LXV, d.h. diese Alternative fällt aus.
