Vgl. hierzu A. Schulman, Military Rank, Title, and Organization in the Egyptian New Kingdom (MÄS 6), Berlin 1964, 38f.; R. Drews, The End of the Bronze Age. Changes in Warfare and the Catastrophe ca. 1200 B.C., Princeton 1993, 116, 141-147; R.H. Beal, The Organisation of the Hittite Military (Texte der Hethiter 20), Heidelberg 1992, 202f.
