  • Schenkel, Memphis, Herakleopolis, Theben (ÄA 12), Wiesbaden 1965, 102, note (c) emends šd to ḏd: "Nicht sprach ich ein (unrechtes) Wort an den Beiden Torflügeln"; but perhaps šdi̯ mdw is rather to be taken as synonymous to šdi̯ ḫrw (WB IV, 566.3-5): Hannig, Ägyptisches Wörterbuch. II. Mittleres Reich und Zweite Zwischenzeit, Bd. 2, 2499 {33811}: "*stören, Unruhe stiften"; Van der Molen, Hieroglyphic Dictionary of Egyptian Coffin Texts, 641: "betray". Hodjash and Berlev (1982, 65) translate "never did I divulge anything abroad," which is grammatically possible, but seems oddly out of context.
