  • - jnk: Ergänzung Schenkel, MHT, 102, Anm. (a). Clère und Vandier ergänzen [jnk nb] qd. Beide Ergänzungen sind möglich (nb-qd / mrr.w (n.j) nb=f in Janssen, Traditioneele Egyptische autobiografie, I, 142-143, Nr. Ac.50-53; qd mrr.w: ibid., I, 149, Nr. Bd.1-2), allerdings kommt "der geliebt ist in (einem Ort)" nicht separat vor. Schenkel verweist auf Stele BM 614 = TPPI, Text 20, Zl. A.8: jnk mri̯=f-nfr.t msḏi̯=f-ḏw.t / qd mrr.w m pr nb=f. Andererseits erweckt die Epigraphie der Steintafel den Eindruck, daß jnk alleine zu viel Freiraum lassen würde.
    - šw.t=f: For this meaning of šw.t, cf. Quack, Studien zur Lehre für Merikare, 1992, 37, note (d): "helfende/unterstützende Personen".
    - =f refers to the lord. Alternatively, =f could refer to the palace (pr nb=f), the whole phrase meaning something like "its personnel".
    - The translation of Hodjash and Berlev, The Egyptian Reliefs and Stelae, 1982, p. 65 and notes (k) and (l)), "I am one respected in its interior" is untenable because of the literal meaning of ḫꜣm rmn. Tjetji (BM 614, 7) has a similar formulation: ḫꜣm-rmn m-m wr.w, "one respectful among the great ones".
