Zur problematischen Übersetzung des Satzes ḫm … tm siehe die Kommentare bei Gardiner, in: JEA 32, 52-53 Anm. p und Allen, in: BES 16, 10-11 Komm. zu Kol. 25, wobei hier Allens Interpretation gefolgt wird. Gardiner nahm für tm „Atum“ an: „He who enters face-to-face, the leader of the divine ennead, (even) Atum (?) was ignorant of it“ (ḫm st ꜥq jr.tj sšm.w psḏ.t (J)tm(.w), obgleich er feststellte: „But the presence of Atum at Khmūn does not seem to be attested elsewhere.“; stattdessen schloss er für tm ein Pseudopartizip aus, weil als korrekte Form tm.tj zu erwarten gewesen wäre.
