R. Enmarch, forthcoming, A World Upturned: The Ancient Egyptian Dialogue of Ipuwer and the Lord of All. To appear in the British Academy Postdoctoral Monograph Series: "jny.t apparently means 'seeds/kernels' (Wb. I, 94.4; Fecht, Der Vorwurf an Gott, 161), which provides neither a plausible parallelism with gold nor a likely workable material - nt-kꜣt-nb(t) 'of every work'. It is perhaps an error of hearing, possibly for jnr 'stone' which would suit kꜣt-nb(t), or for some word for 'delivered goods' (〈 jni̯; Fecht 1972: 161). Less plausible suggested emendations include jnw 'mats' or 'models, materials' (Faulkner, in: JEA 50, 1964: 25-6; so too Concise Dictionary, 2000-5: 32), and jnn 'to abandon' (Goedicke 1967a: 95)."
