Die ersten beiden magischen Namen haben die altkoptischen Glossen ramšaou und šaou. Beim Namen der Mutter ist nur der erste Bestandteil mit Glosse versehen (nta - unter also unter Einschluß des vorangehenden Genitiv-n - beim ersten Vorkommen, ta beim zweiten). In dem mehrfach wiederkehrenden Element (demot. alphabetisch) šw könnte nach Reymond (bei Betz, Greek Magical Papyri 209 Anm. 182) der Gott Schu stecken.
