gꜣf: ist mit dem Auge mit Schminkstreifen determiniert (Gardiner D6). Laut Wb. V, 155.3 ein Hapax "in unklarem Zusammenhang". Caminos, LEM, 228 errät die Bedeutung "to be amazed(?)". Er vergleicht mit qf/qꜣ-fj: "erstaunt sein" (mit Nase und Mann mit Hand am Mund als Determinativ) in pAnastasi I, 11.4 (so schon versuchsweise Gardiner, Egyptian Hieratic Texts, Leipzig 1911, 14*, Anm. 10) und er erwägt außerdem eine Emendierung zu gꜣw: "staunen". Die Stelle in pAnastasi I, 11.4 ist in Wb. V, 11.13 aufgeführt: "erstaunt sein o.ä.", wo auf gnf: "abweisen; abweisend handeln" verwiesen wird. Da die Bedeutung unsicher ist, ist ebenfalls unklar, ob tw=k (ḥr) gꜣfj oder tw=k gꜣfj〈.tj〉 zu lesen ist. Caminos und Tacke sowie Fischer-Elfert, in: SAK 27, 1999, 75 übersetzen "you are amazed(?)" bzw. "du bist erstaunt/verblüfft", ohne sich dazu zu äußern.
