Die Verwendung von ꜣwi̯ für "weit entfernt sein" ist wohl ungewöhnlich. Dennoch bieten die Parallelen keine bessere Lösung (entgegen Goyons Ansicht); vgl. Goyon, Imouthès, 91, Anm. 43.
