  • - šꜣj als Verschreibung von št.w und damit analog zu Kol. 9.11? Westendorf, in: ZÄS 92, 1966, 145, Anm. 4 schlägt vor, dass die Leber eines Schweins als Ersatzdroge für die einer Schildkröte dienen kann, da beides sethianische Tiere sind.
    - Das Wort hinter šꜣj wurde von Wreszinski, 156 als jw gelesen und als passives jw sḏm verstanden. Leitz, Magical and Medical Papyri, 69 und Tf. 34 erkennt statt j das schlechte Paket (Aa2) und liest wt "verbinden" als Handlungsanweisung: "to be wrapped". Dieses Verb wird sonst im Text jedoch mit t komplementiert und mit dem schlagenden Mann determiniert (s. Kol. 4.5, 10.13, 11.6, 11.7, 11.10, 12.1-4, 12.7). Westendorf, Handbuch Medizin, 423 fragt sich, ob qn: "fett (sein)" gelesen werden kann: "der Leber eines fetten (qn ?) Schweins". Die Lesung des Zeichens als Aa2 ist nicht ganz sicher; es sieht eher wie ein Dreieck aus.
