  • - Die Bedeutung von wḏꜥ.t ist nicht ganz klar. Faulkner, Concise Dictionary, 75 und Hannig, Handwörterbuch, 233 übersetzen mit "Urteil", aber Hannig akzeptiert für den Ausdruck rḫ wḏꜥ.t die Bedeutung "das Rechtswesen kennen" (Anthes, Hatnub, Graffito 14, Zl. 9-10 auf S. 32-33). Weitere Übersetzungen sind "Prozeß" (Brunner, Altägyptische Weisheit, 125; Vernus, in: Fs Lauer, 441; Fischer-Elfert, Lehre eines Mannes, 170), "Anklage" (Burkard, in: TUAT, 212) und "Beschuldigter" (wḏꜥ.tj: Gnirs, in: LingAeg 8, 2000, 139).
    - Falls die Übersetzungen "Urteil" oder "Rechtswesen" zutreffen, ist wdb als ein Imperativ zu verstehen: "Wende deinen Fall einem Urteil zu" oder "Wende deinen Fall gemäß dem Rechtswesen".
