  • Fecht hat auf der Doppeldeutigkeit der Stelle hingewiesen (in: Fs Simpson, I, 253-254): m-ḫnt bedeutet auch "vorne", also steht der König vorne am Bug des Staatsschiffes als Lotse, wobei Rensi der Steuermann ist, der auf die Befehle des Lotsen achtet. Eine andere zweite Bedeutung findet sich bei Gnirs, in: LingAeg 8, 2000, 133.
