  • - jn jw gmḥ=k: Siehe D.P.Silverman, Interrogative Constructions with jn and jn-jw in Old and Middle Egyptian, Malibu 1980, 31-32 mit Anm. 173: er übersetzt gmḥ=k präsentisch, und da keine adverbielle Emphase da ist, muß die Verbform jn + jw sḏm=f sein und nicht jn-jw + emphatisches sḏm=f; jn-jw ist üblich im Neuägyptischen. Auch Smith / Smith, Texts, 58 entscheiden sich für Präsens, ebenso Wente, Letters, 26; Redford, in: E. Oren (Ed.), The Hyksos, 14; Simpson, Literature, 349. Habachi, Second Stela, 39 hat gmḥ=k mit Vergangenheit übersetzt (ebenso Kaplony-Heckel, Kriegszug, 532 und Hofmann, Königsnovelle, 118). Beide Interpretationen sind ohne weiteres möglich: die Relativform im Satz spricht eher für eine Annahme als Vergangenheitsform, der Nachsatz, der Präsens I aufweist, lässt auch Präsens zu.
