mr.wt nḏs: Gardiner, 43 übersetzt anders: "Nor did I covet her whom the poor man loved." (ebenso Stewart), d.h. mri̯.t ist eine Relativform mit nḏs als Subjekt und kein Substantiv in einer Genitivverbindung. Fischer-Elfert, in: GM 112, 1989, 24 übersetzt "die Geliebte eines Bürgers". In Anm. 7 erwähnt er eine Übersetzung von Berlev: "small (short-lived) love. (Hardly "'love of a youth' (nḏs)", d.h. mit nḏs als Adjektiv. Fischer-Elfert, Lehre eines Mannes, 299 erwägt eine Emendierung des Textes: mr〈w〉.r 〈n.t(?)〉 nḏs: "die Geliebte 〈eines(?)〉 Geringen".
