  • - nꜥi̯: Le sens premier de cet adjectif est "lisse". Par glissement l'expression nꜥ jb "lisse de coeur" en vient à signifier "miséricordieux, clément, compatissant". Il semble qu'à partir de la Troisième Période intermédaire le signe du coeur disparaisse et que l'expression se lexicalise pour conserver le sens retenu ici. Une grande partie des papyrus contenant cette variante associe le déterminatif de l'oeil fardé à celui de la palette de scribe. Voir à ce propos Wüthrich, SAT 19, 47-49.
