  • Die šmm.t-Hitze wird im pLeiden I 346 als „(schlechter) Einfluss des Jahres“ genannt, als etwas, vor dem der Betroffene ebenso sicher ist wie vor dem Gefolge der Sachmet, wenn er den Namen der Epagomenentage nennt. In Tb 135 wird die „šmm.t-Hitze der Bastet“ neben dem „Schlag des Königs“ genannt, der in pRamesseum XVII in Fragment A erwähnt wird. Es handelt sich in diesem Fall bei šmm.t also wohl um eine Fieberhitze, die am Jahresende auftreten kann (vgl. schon Meyrat, Papyrus magiques du Ramesseum, 171).
