  • Quack möchte ḥḏi̯ auch in Kol. 10.6-11 passivisch verstehen, genau wie in den früheren Passagen (Quack, Merikare, 88 und Quack, in: Ling Aeg 3, 1993, 79). Dabei ist ḫft.jw im euphemistischen Sinne zu verstehen: "Zerstört sind die Feinde dieser herrlichen Residenz" = "Zerstört ist diese herrliche Residenz". Auch Vernus, in: RdE 41, 1990, 204, Anm. 207 erkennt in dieser Stelle eine euphemistische Verwendung von ḫft.jw.
