  • Smith übersetzt "A good mummification is favourable" und sieht in ı͗r ḥr eine Verbindung mit dem Verbum ı͗r, die das Prädikat zu qsı͗ꜣ.t nfr(.t) bildet. Wegen der sich ergebenden grammatisch-syntaktischen Probleme ist es aber wahrscheinlicher,l daß ı͗r zur Markierung eines gesprochenen auslautenden r von nfr dient wie bei Nfr-ı͗r-ḥr als Schreibvariante zu Nfr-ḥr Demot. Nb. 641. Vgl. auch nfr-ı͗r-šj Insinger, XVIII 6. Vgl. in diesem Sinne auch J.F. Quack, Or 76, 2006, 158, nach dem qrs,t direkt die Mumienhülle bezeichnet (die dann auch im folgenden angeredet wird).
