Chauveau, BiOr 61, 2004, 26f. kehrt zu Griffiths Lesung brr "Blinder" zurück. Dies ist paläographisch zwar einwandfrei, sachlich und von der Schreibweise (br - "Pupille" - r - ꜣ - "sterbender Krieger" 〈 kopt. blle) her gesehen aber mehr als unwahrscheinlich. Die angebliche "Pupille" ist wohl ein klein geratenes h; das Ganze ist m.E. vermutlich brh{r}⸢mwt⸣ zu lesen. Die Lesung "Blemmyer" jetzt auch bei Hoffmann / Quack, Anthologie, 28. Agut-Labordère / Chauveau 158 "aveugle (?)"; dazu 335 (39).
