Die Lesung von Gardiner N35 ("Wasser") + ṱ als mwt "Tod" ist überaus ungewöhnlich, jedoch bereiten andere Lesungsversuche noch mehr Probleme, vgl. Goyon, Imouthès, 92, Anm. 61. Ungewöhnliche Schreibungen sind in diesem Text aber nicht selten!
