  • Le premier nom du dieu est orthographié de quatre manières différentes (Voir les variantes dans Wüthrich, SAT 19, 172-173).
    Une origine méroïtique semble très probable ; Zibelius-Chen (Meroitica 25, 235-236) le rapproche de la racine méroïtique (e)rike "engendrer" qui apparaît très fréquemment dans la composition des noms royaux ou de qore "le roi" (Zibelius-Chen, in LIngAeg 13 (2005), 202-203.
    S’appuyant sur l’hypothèse qu’il s’agit d’une structure égyptienne Allen (Book of the Dead, 161) transcrit kꜣ-jri̯=k ce qu’il traduit en interprétant le premier élément comme l’auxiliaire d’énonciation kꜣ par "these whom didst make" et indique en variante "then thou shalt make".
