  • - ḥm.wt=f: Der Bezug von =f ist unklar. Dem Sinn nach ist aber Apophis gemeint; vgl. Habachi, Second Stela, 35 Anm. d.
    - ḥr tp-ḥw.t: Zu tp-ḥw.t siehe Wb. 5, 290.8-18: Es liegt ein Kompositum vor; siehe auch die Übersetzungen von Smith / Smith, Texts, 60 und Redford, in: E: Oren (Ed.), The Hyksos, 14. Habachi, Second Stela, 34 fasste ḥw.t als eigenständig auf, und übersetzte: "on the roof of his palace", danach die meisten anderen Übersetzer.
    - ššd: Schreibvariante für das übliche sšd; vgl. kopt. šôšt; siehe Habachi, Second Stela, 35 Anm. d. Nach Smith / Smith, Texts, 63-64 Anm. p handelt es sich hier um Schießscharten in der Mauer, nicht direkt Fenster; siehe auch den Kommentar zu šr.t im nächsten Satz. Darnell, in: Mendel / Claudi (Hgg.), Ägypten 86-88 Anm. b dagegen denkt entweder an Fenster, und zwar explizit in der Residenz des Herrschers, vielleicht in Pavillons auf dem Dach, oder an Fensterbalkone, die direkt unterhalb des Daches angebracht waren.
