  • Die Emendation von wꜣḥ zu wḥꜥ scheint mir zwingend. Zunächst ist die Bedeutung "jagen, fischen, fangen" für wꜣḥ kaum zu belegen, während grg, wꜥḥ, ḥꜣm hier bestens belegt sind (z.B. 'Pleasures of fishing and fowling' oder 'The sporting King, in: Caminos, Literary fragments in the hieratic script). Überdies ist die in der Spätzeit gut bekannte lautliche Indifferenz von wꜣḥ und wḥꜥ (Kopt. ou¯ḥ/ou¯ḥe) schon im NR nachzuweisen, vgl. Gardiner, LEM, 26a. Anm. 8. wḥꜥ korrespondiert so ausgezeichnet mit ḥꜣm in AOS.
