  • - Ergänzung der Lücke mdwi̯ ḫnt nach der gleichen Passage in pEbers 854a (Grundriß V, 1; Synopse bei Breasted, Surgical Papyrus, 106-107).
    - ḫnt: Die meisten Übersetzungen gehen von der Bedeutung "vorn, an der Spitze" 〉 "in" aus, wobei "in" in der Zielsprache teilweise zu "aus heraus" abgeändert wird: "[it speaks from out of] every vessel" (z.B. Ritner, in: JNES 65, 2006, 102). Die Übersetzung von Allen, Art of Medicine, 73 weicht ab: "[it speaks] to every vessel". Hier ist mt nb nicht länger das Medium in dem oder durch das das Herz spricht, sondern es ist der Adressat.
