  • srwḫ: Sowohl Westendorf, Handbuch Medizin, als auch Bardinet, Papyrus médicaux übersetzen es infinitivisch. Es wäre aber auch eine Übersetzung als passives sḏm=f möglich.

    mw, „Wasser“: In diesem Zusammenhang in der Regel als Krankheit oder Symptom betrachtet: MedWb 1, 358 versteht hierin einen „Krankheitsstoff“. Bardinet, Papyrus médicaux, 302 denkt konkreter an eine „sérosité“. Westendorf, Handbuch Medizin, 286 nennt mw als Inhalt einer Schwellung, spezifisch im Kontext mit šfw.t. In seiner Übersetzung des konkreten Rezeptes Eb 336 auf S. 609 bleibt er aber bei einer wörtlichen Übersetzung „Wasser“, so dass unsicher bleibt, ob er hierin dasselbe versteht wie das Wasser als Inhalt der Schwellung.
