  • I follow Anthes (1974, 41) in reading sꜣḫ as a sḏm.n=f. The ‘wreath of triumph (mḥw/mꜣḥ n mꜣꜥ-ḫrw)’ is attested in funerary wishes from the 18th Dynasty onward as an object worn by Osiris that can be transferred to a deceased person to signal their transfiguration. The primary study remains Derchain 1955 (also Assmann et al. 2005: 303–4; Herbin, Le livre de parcourir l'éternité, OLA 58, Leuven 1994: 149–50).
