  • Eva Lange (in her PhD thesis “Ritualepisoden,” pp. 150ff) suggests m=k tnj jṯt: “Siehe, das alte Feld (?) ist fortgenommen.”

  • Wente notes (OIP 102, p. 47, n. a) regarding this word: “we take [it] as a nomen agentis from bẖ with prothetic ı͗, see Edel, Altägyptische Grammatik, vol. 1, §226. On bẖ, ‘fill,’ ‘stock,’ see Blackman and Fairman, JEA 36 (1950): 69 (32).” However, see also Wilson Ptolemaic Lexicon, 328, who translates with the sense of ‘make yield,’ and Eva Lange-Athinodoru in her PhD thesis “Ritualepisoden,” pp. 150ff, where she reads this word as jẖb instead of jbẖ and translates it as “Sichler.”

(A future release of the TLA web app will also indicate the scope of authors’ comments or annotations, i.e., which parts of the sentence a comment/annotation refers to. For the development plan, see here.)
