– Erhaltungszustand: Die Stele weist an mehreren Stellen Aus– und Abbrüche auf, insbesondere der untere Rand ist weggebrochen. Sie zeigt an verschiedenen Stellen auch einen sichtbaren Abrieb, vor allem im oberen rechten Viertel im Bildfeld, bei der Königsfigur. Comment on this place: Die Herkunft ist nicht völlig gesichert. Im Text ist von einer Landschenkung an den Month-Tempel von Medamud die Rede. Bigler & Geiger, in: ZÄS 121, 1994, 11 vermuten, dass die Stele ursprünglich an eine Tempelmauer gelehnt gewesen sein könnte, ähnlich einer Stele Ramses’ III., die dort in solch einer Position in situ gefunden worden ist; vgl. dazu F. Bisson de la Roque, Rapport sur les fouilles des Medamud (1930), FIFAO 8, Le Caire 1931, 28, 68 (Inv. 5413).
