  • - mḏ.t: Quack liest hier das Adjektiv "tief" (ebenso Vernus, 262, Anm. 73), was für ein Feld jedoch nicht paßt und außerdem müßte man das t tilgen. Deshalb möchte Fischer-Elfert, in: WdO 28, 1997, 28 mḏ.t noch zu šdy.t ziehen und anschließend ein weiteres Adjektiv ergänzen mḏ sw r šdy.t mḏ.t / 〈wsḫ〉 sḫ.t ... lesen: "Er ist tiefer als ein tiefer Brunnen. 〈Ausgedehnt〉 ist das Feld ...". In pSaqqara fehlt dieser Satz und scheint der vorherige Satz mit šdy.t aufzuhören. Mit mḏ.t als Dimensionsangabe "Tiefe; Ausdehnung nach hinten/innen" im direkten Genitiv mit sḫ.t kommt man aus inhaltlichen Gründen nicht weiter. Bei der hier vorgeschlagenen Lesung von mḏ.t als "Viehhof" muß man das Suffix bei pẖr=s und bei pꜣy=s im nächsten Satz emendieren.
    - pẖr: muß das Verb "umkreisen" sein, denn das Substantiv pẖr.w (Hannig, Handwörterbuch, 2006, 310) bedeutet "Rundgang, Umlauf", nicht "Begrenzung".
