  • jni̯.n Ḏḥw.tj m Ḫmnw: Thot aus Hermopolis referiert hier im Zusammenhang mit dem Horusauge, das in Heliopolis geschaffen und nach Hermopolis gebracht wird, auf Sonne und Mond. Die Graphie von Ḫmnw ist sehr ungewöhnlich. Leitz, Tf. 38, Anm. zu Zl. 2 meint, dass die zwei horizontalen Striche, die die hieratische Zahl 8 bilden, zu 2 x n verlesen und dann zu 2 x nw-Topf umgeschrieben wurden. Das s am Wortende wäre eine Wiedergabe der hieratischen Zahl 4 in Datumsangaben. Wreszinski, 185 hat schon eine Verschreibung für "Hermopolis" angenommen; Grundriß IV/1, 60 und IV/2, 65 hält den Ortsnamen für unleserlich, aber MedWb 658 hat es als ḫmnw(?): "Hermopolis (?)" eingetragen. Borghouts, 47 erkannte das Toponym Cusae (= Qusae, el-Qusiye), das er als Ggws transkribiert (für Qjs?); vgl. Hannig, HWB, 1200 {42783} = Hannig, Ägyptisches Wörterbuch II/2, 2983 {42783}: ein unsicheres Toponym Ggws in CT III, 90a. Vgl. auch die Schreibung Gs.wj: "Qus" bei Koptos im Ramesseum-Onomasticum Zl. 204 und im Onomasticum-Golenischeff, Kol. 4.16 (AEO II, 27*, Nr. 339), aber das hieratische Zeichen ist nicht das für Gs.wj erforderliche V33.
