  • rs: Lesung nach Goedicke, in: JNES 19, 1960, 290 mit Anm. (h) und Fig. 3. Ein solches Wort ist sonst nicht belegt. Angenommen wird, das es für rs.t: "gefangener Feind; Exekrationsfigur" steht. Das Determinativ ist jedoch das gewöhnliche Personendeterminativ A1 und nicht der gebundene Feind A13.
    Anders Fischer, Dendera, 201: "(I) went down to Abydos, conveying someone called Rs(?)". Für Fischer ist Rs also ein Personenname. Er folgt in seiner Interpretation Allen, 55: "I went down against Abydos, taking along Mahesa(?)". Allen hat den Namen als Mḥs gelesen, was Goedicke ablehnt (gefolgt von Schenkel, Fischer). Morenz läßt beide Möglichkeiten offen und gibt für Mḥs sogar die Etymologie "der Dreckige".
