  • pr=f: Das Bezugswort ist umstritten. Lefebvre, Hermann, Lichtheim, Kammerzell, Kitchen, Lalouette, Brunner-Traut und Bresciani bezogen es auf Chons-Den-Fürsorger-von-Theben: "sans en rien remettre à son (propre) temple", "ohne irgendetwas davon seinem (eigenen) Tempel zu übergeben", "whithout giving anything to his (own) house", "ohne auch nur irgendetwas davon seinem eigenen Tempel zuzuteilen", "without putting aside anything of it in his own temple", "sans en rien distraire pour son propre temple", "ohne irgendetwas für seinen eigenen Tempel zurückzubehalten", "e non lasciò nulla di questo al suo tempio". Dies bedeutet, dass versichert wird, Chons hätte wirklich alles abgegeben. Konträr dazu ist die Deutung von Breasted, Wilson, Broze und Ritner, die das Suffixpronomen auf Chons-in-Theben-Neferhotep beziehen: "(but) he gave not every thing thereof into his house", "without his delivering everything thereof into his house", "sans tout donner à son temple" bzw. "without giving him everything from it to his temple". Danach würde Chons-Der-Fürsorger-von-Theben einen Teil der Gaben für sich behalten.
